CONGRESS THEME

The 18th ICMDA World Congress, themed "Building God's Kingdom Amongst the Broken," will be a time to seek God’s heart and guidance as Christian doctors, dentists, students, and healthcare leaders. Centered on God’s faithfulness and love, this congress will encourage participants to rely on His wisdom and strength to become instruments of His healing and justice in a broken world. Together, we will reflect on how to glorify God by serving as His hands and feet, bringing hope, compassion, and restoration to those in need. Join us in worship, prayer, and fellowship as we seek to build His kingdom through healthcare.

Main Theme:

  • "Building God's Kingdom amongst the broken"
    • Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. -Isaiah 58:12-

  • "Building bridges with people suffering sickness"
    • Blessed are those who mourn, for they shell be comforted -Mattew 5:4
  • "Building bridges with people suffering injustice"

Dr Dae-Young Lee

Dr. Lee served as a medical missionary in the Arab World before obtaining an MDiv in Global Studies and a PhD in Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University. He was ordained as a pastor in the International Presbyterian Church (IPC) in London, UK and is the author of Shalom, God’s Ultimate Purpose of the World. He currently works as a General Surgeon and Director of the International Health Care Center at Presbyterian Medical Center in Jeonju, Korea.
