Bill Bieber

Dr. William Bieber is a retired Canadian family physician with over 40 years of experience in primary care and community health. Worked 8 years in Papua New Guinea as a Provincial Health Officer. In Canada as a founder of the CUPS street clinic in was awarded the Governor General’s Meritorious Service Medal and later founded a 16 doctor Family Physician community-based Medical Clinic. Since 2001, Dr. Bieber and his wife, Sharon have served with Medical Ambassadors International (MAI) in the Pacific and SE Asia. They work to support the integration of faith-based community health strategies into government national health care systems. Bill and Sharon have 2 married children and 5 grandchildren. They live in the foothills south of Calgary, Canada.
