Maria Akani

Dr. Maria Akani is a devoted follower of Christ, a medical doctor, and a psychiatrist with a deep passion for restoring wholeness in people’s lives. She holds a Master of Medicine in Psychiatry, a Master of Science in Clinical Neuropsychology, and degrees in Medicine, Surgery, and Human Biology, along with certifications in Life Coaching and Christian Counselling. As Managing Consultant of Renaisense, she leads transformative work in counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatry, and mental health training. Dr Akani gave her life to Christ in February 1993. She faithfully serves at Miracle Life Family Church. Dr Akani is married with two children, she also ministers with the Navigators Ministry in Zambia and speaks passionately about faith, healing, and personal transformation.
