Herng-Der Chern

Dr. Herng-Der Chern was born in Chiayi, Taiwan, 1957. He received his medical degree from National Taiwan University in 1983 , a board certified gastroenterologist in 1990 and Ph.D. degree in Pharamcology from University of Pittsburgh in 1994. He then served as the session director of Clinical Pharmacology in NTUH and later Executive Director of Center for Drug Evaluation Center. Currently, Dr. Chern is a Consultant of Taiwan Christian Medical Association and Board Member of ICMDA. He coordinates Ukraine Appeal activities in Taiwan since 2022. His wife, Alice, and he have 1 daughter, 1 son and 4 grandchildren.
