Sheena Li

Sheena was born and raised in Hong Kong and immigrated with her family to Canada at the age of 11. She came to know the Lord as a teenager through the youth group at her church in Toronto. During her 3rd year at Queens University, she attended Urbana 2000 and responded to Acts 1:8 by dedicating her life to be God’s witness wherever He leads. In 2007, she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Pittsburgh, PA and a hospital residency in Rochester, NY. Subsequently, God led her to serve for a year through Africa Inland Mission in a beautiful but impoverished part of East Africa. She was mentored by an amazing group of likeminded doctors who shared the hope and healing of Christ through providing dental and oral maxillofacial surgeries for victims of trauma and civil war. It was in Africa that God took a hold of her heart and she committed to long term missionary service. Sheena has been living and serving in the highlands of Papua New Guinea as part of the Ethnos360 church planting team for the past decade, serving in the areas of clinical dentistry, community health development, discipleship among the rural majority in PNG. Sheena is the iCMDA regional secretary for Oceania and she is amazed and humbled to witness how the Lord has been moving in this part of the world.
