Biography: Dr Pinkie RR Bala -Mbambisa , residing in East London,South Africa is a recently retired Specialist Family Physician with special interest in child health, Anaesthesia ,Travel and Preventive Medicine with Fellowship of Family Physicians of SA, Diploma in Child Health,Diploma in Anaesthesiology,Certificate in Travel Medicine .Practiced both in public and private practice in SA and UK. Married -for 51 years to Zweli also a retired gynecologist .Blessed with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Board member of various professional and community organisations . Previously involved with my husband for many years in a mentoring program for Christian medical students at WSU. Now involved in mentoring young professionals especially on marriage issues and balancing marriage with the profession, Presently Coordinator for the Sub Saharan ICMDA Bioethics course.
