Doug Fountain (Mr.)

Doug Fountain is a seasoned leader with nearly 40 years’ experience in faith-based and secular health services. He has led planning, research, and evaluation across global and U.S. health systems, promoting evidence-driven practice and organizational impact. Doug previously held executive roles at Medical Teams International and Uganda Christian University, where he lived for eight years. His work spans Africa, South Asia, and Latin America. He helped found the Christian Health Asset Mapping Consortium, Christian Journal for Global Health, and UCU’s Faculty of Health Sciences. He serves on several global faith-health networks and holds an MPA from UNC–Chapel Hill.
