A1. Your ticket type is determined by your qualification combined with your World Development Indicator (WDI) category. To find your correct WDI category, please visit the [registration page] and refer to the WDI lists under the "World Bank Category" section. Simply open the list and search for your country of residence.
A2. Please review the detailed "Cancellation & Refund Policy" section on the [registration page] for all information regarding refunds.
A3. No, standard registration does not include accommodation. However, ICMDA 2026 JEJU offers complimentary accommodation for eligible delegates. For specific criteria and more details, please visit our [Accommodation page].
A4. Yes, absolutely! You can register your spouse as an accompanying delegate. Accompanying delegates have access to the conference just like other attendees. Please note, this option is not for spouses who are also healthcare professionals; they should register as regular delegates. For more information, please refer to the [registration page].
Kindly note: Accompanying delegates will share certain conference materials, such as conference bags, with their registered spouses.
A5. Yes, we offer an engaging children's program for ages 2-14 throughout the conference. [Click here] to learn more about the program details. You can register your child for the entire program duration for just $33.
A6. Yes, delegates are welcome to participate as volunteers. If you are interested, please click [Application Form] to apply. For more detailed information, please refer to Together Tab > Volunteer.
A7. Yes, we are arranging both pre- and post-conference visits to medical centers in Korea. You can find more details by checking [here].
A8. The National Organizing Committee (NOC) is currently issuing a Call for Abstract Papers for presentations during the conference. For more information, please check [here]
A9. Please be aware that exhibitors are NOT considered delegates. If an exhibitor wishes to attend all conference sessions, they MUST register separately as a delegate. For more details regarding exhibition opportunities, please click [here].
Yes. You will be sent an email where you can re-visit your registration to edit / pay. Currently registration without payment is considered as interested in attending. After payment, then it becomes a registration. Please ensure you pay before December 31, iIf you pay after December 31 then the super early bird will no longer apply.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 31 December 2025.
Unsuccessful applicants are still welcome to attend the congress and will be offered the Super Early Bird registration rate, even if the deadline for this rate has passed.
A12.1. Transportation: Jeju Airport to ICC Jeju & Hotels
Airport Limousine Bus Schedule
- Operating Hours: 07:31 – 21:43
- Frequency: Every 1 hour (18 times daily)
- Bus Fare: 5,000 KRW
- Note: If you arrive after the last bus (21:43), you must take a taxi (approx. 40,000 KRW) or wait at the airport until the next morning.
A12.2. Payment & Transportation Card (T-Money)
Important: Cash (including USD) and standard credit/debit cards are not accepted on the bus. You must purchase and charge a T-Money card at the airport.
- Where to Buy: CU Convenience Store (located in front of Jeju Airport Gate 2).
- Price: 4,000 KRW for the card (can be purchased with a Visa card).
- CU Store Hours: 06:30 AM – 10:30 PM.
- How to Use: Tap your card on the red screen/terminal when boarding the bus.
- Refunds: Remaining balances under 30,000 KRW can be refunded at the airport before departure.
A12.3. Currency Exchange & ATMs
If you need local currency (KRW) to charge your T-Money card:
- Currency Exchange Office:
- Inside Arrivals (Before Exit): Open until 11:00 PM.
- Outside Arrivals (Public Area): Open until 4:00 PM.
- Global ATMs:
- Located in front of Gate 3 and Gate 5.
- Operating Hours: 07:00 AM – 11:00 PM.
A13. An ICMDA volunteer will be stationed at Gate 5 of Jeju International Airport to assist delegates upon arrival.
Normal Arrival Hours:
Delegates are expected to arrange their own transportation via bus or taxi.
Emergency or Late Arrivals:
For emergency situations or late-night arrivals, transportation support will be centrally coordinated by the volunteer team.
A14. You can receive immediate support on a wide range of issues, including accommodation, visa applications, program information, bursaries, volunteer opportunities, registration, pre- and post-congress tours, travel arrangements, exhibition booths, and cancellation or refund inquiries.
