GumMo Jung

Dr. Gum Mo, Jung works as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Jesus hospital in Korea. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency training at Jesus hospital which has served as a missionary hospital for over 120 years and is also the very hospital where he was born. In 2014 and 2024, he served as a short-term medical missionary in Cambodia. During this time, he helped with the training of residents and junior doctors, providing medical education, gastrointestinal endoscopy training, and training in Biblical medical ethics. During this period, he also regularly provided education and discussion sessions on medical ethics to Cambodian medical students. At Jesus Hospital, his gastroenterology department team is running a GI endoscopy training program for junior doctors who come from countries including Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Tanzania.
