Jana Macleod

She is a surgeon and intensivist with a master’s in public health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She previously served six years in a district hospital in Tanzania before joining Emory University, where she directed International Research & Partnerships and led research for Trauma and Critical Care at Grady Hospital. She now teaches at Kenyatta University and with UBC’s Branch for Global Surgical Care. Most importantly, she has followed Jesus since age 12. She is devoted to mentoring and discipling healthcare workers, longing to see Christ’s saving grace transform lives across East Africa and beyond
