Jean Wright

Jean Wright is the CEO of the COPD Foundation.  Her background includes a clinical career as a pediatric anesthesiologist and ICU specialists.  Midway through her career she was sent to business school by her hospital, and began a journey of leading physicians and hospital administrators.  This culminated in roles like Department Chair of Pediatrics; Executive Director for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Innovation Officer.  Jean is recognized TEDx speaker, and a thought leader in innovation.  Her training includes Wayne State Medical School, Emory Residencies, Emory Business Schoo, and Harvard and MIT for post graduate training in innovation. Jean has been a member of CMDA since medical school, and served as a Trustee for the CMDA.  Jean has been very involved in short term medical missions, particularly in southeast Asia.  Her greatest joy are her 4 children, all adopted from China.
