Jelena Sivulka

Jelena Sivulka was born and raised in Serbia, where she earned master’s degrees in both psychology and theology, followed by a Ph.D. on the topic of Mental Illness and Suffering in Bucharest. She became a Christian 30 years ago and soon after began serving in ministry alongside her husband, Greg. Together, they have been involved in church planting, humanitarian aid distribution, and partnering with Joni and Friends to serve people with disabilities. With a background in counseling, Jelena has worked in Serbia’s schools, social centers, and medical clinics. She currently teaches Biblical Counseling at the Theological Faculty in Osijek and oversees Counseling Schools in the MENA region. She is also the founder and director of Hana’s Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by disability.
