Marie Carrera
Marie is a daughter of God, medical doctor, and global worker with extensive experience in public health and international cooperation, dedicated to serving the underserved. She has led national and international health initiatives, including the pioneering 7.8-magnitude earthquake response — the first real implementation of WHO Emergency Medical Teams in the Americas. With postgraduate studies in Human Development and Islamic Studies, she is passionate about global health and compassionate service. She inspires others to live out their faith through Christ-centred servant leadership. She currently serves with ICMDA as APSA Americas—North, Central, South, and Portuguese-speaking Africa—and Global Saline Administrator.
