- Title: Building God's Kingdom amongst the Broken
- Location: TBA
- God is a God of hope and comfort. Even amid our mistakes and facing life challenges, God never abandons His people. We have access to the throne of grace because of the Lord Jesus. Based on the theme, “Building God’s Kingdom amongst the Broken,’ we will study the book of Nehemiah to explore how God rebuilds God’s people beyond just rebuilding the broken walls in times of threats and discouragement. We will also examine how God commissions His people, a healed community, to bring hope to a fractured world.

- Title: Understanding the Worldview about Medicine
- Location: TBA
- This lecture provides a Christian worldview-based review of foundational bioethical issues associated with the origin, beginning, quality, and end of human life. It examines how each stage raises distinct moral questions concerning personhood, dignity, and the limits of human intervention. The course also offers a critical analysis of the four principles of biomedical ethics —autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice— evaluating their philosophical foundations and practical limitations in light of Christian theological ethics. In an age of rapidly advancing medical technologies, this lecture invites Christian medical students to reflect on essential ethical issues from a faith-informed perspective.

- Location: TBA
- We naturally spend time with those like us—those who speak, dress, eat, and think like we do. Apps now even help find those like us. But what if Christ calls us to do something radically different? Every society encourages bubbles of likeness. But as Christ followers, we’re called to break those bubbles. To be a Christian witness in a non-Christian context means intentionally stepping toward those unlike us—so they might meet the One we’re ALL called to be like.

- Title: Bringing God’s Comfort for Terminally Ill Patients and Families
- Location: TBA
- God created men and women to be His companions, to walk with Him and have fellowship with Him. The rules were simple, look after the earth and animals, eat anything but not from the Tree of Knowledge. If Adam and Eve had not eaten the fruit they and us would have continued to live in a state of innocence, perpetual harmony with God, and without sin, death, or suffering. That simple act fractured the relationship with God not only for the human race but for the whole of creation as a consequence pain and suffering were introduced into the world. For many the question remains, why must I suffer, why must my mother suffer like this? Where is the justice and why does God allow this to happen. God is not immune to our pain. He has been there and shares in our suffering. How do we minister to people and their families as they pass through this difficult phase of their lives, how can we bring God’s peace to them?

- Title: Establishing Sustaining a Medical Fellowship
- Location: TBA
- The journey of rebuilding the TCMA Junior Medical Group (JAMES) after COVID-19 highlights the importance of faith and collaboration. Taiwan’s main medical fellowships—TCMA and CCMM—have worked together since 2015 to strengthen Christian medical communities. In 2022, JAMES resumed monthly meetings and embraced technology such as Zoom, AI tools, and Google platforms to broaden reach and make gatherings more accessible. Key lessons include praying through challenges, remaining flexible when plans change, and trusting God in uncertainties. The ultimate goal remains: unite believers, immerse in Scripture, and foster a spirit of humility, ensuring future generations of Christian medical professionals serve through the power of the Holy Spirit.

- Title: Singleness as a Christian
- Location: TBA
- In a culture that often equates marriage with fulfilment and completeness, Christian singlehood can feel isolating, especially for medical students and doctors navigating social and professional pressures. This session invites participants to rethink what it means to be single in light of Scripture, viewing singlehood not merely as a waiting room but as a season of purpose. We will explore some practical habits that support spiritual and emotional wholeness, cultivate accountability and develop community. More importantly, we’ll reflect on how to trust God’s timing amid uncertainty—finding identity, hope and joy in Christ alone.

- Title: Choosing a Specialty in Medicine
- Location: TBA
- Across the globe, medical students and junior doctors are finding it difficult to choose which specialty to pursue as a career. Contributing factors include increasing competition amid a limited number of options, the drive for personal upward mobility, future financial prospects, and the rising costs of education. A lack of vocational understanding of health care adds complexity to the decision-making process. This session will explore biblical and practical frameworks for career decisions and choices. It will examine practices of listening to one's heart, the world and its needs, the Word, and the community as a foundation for making these choices.

- Location: TBA
- In our daily work we encounter a lot of different sexual orientations and questions of sexual identity. In the breakout session we want to reflect the way Jesus encountered people with other attitudes in sexual questions and their way of life. We want to discuss the area of conflict between our own moral and ethical attitudes, the needs of our patients and the acceptance of the patient in the love of Jesus. This way we want to discover how we can deal with these questions in our medical work and asking helpful challenging questions.

- Title: Why does God Allow Sickness?
- Location: TBA
- As doctors and dentists we encounter the reality of sickness on a daily basis. As Christians we believe God is sovereign and all loving. How do we reconcile these realities? Why does a good and sovereign God allow sickness? We need to have reasonable answers for a number of reasons. First, we need to give credible answers to those who are struggling to follow Christ. In our evangelistic efforts we will encounter this question often. But we also need to know the answers for ourselves, that we can find the strength and faith to continue our journeys as Christians in health care. This breakout talk will take a honest, biblical look at the answers.

- Title: Digital Evangelism
- Location: TBA
- My topic will be Evangelism (specifically how the meaning of life is the "seeking of righteousness" not the "pursuit of happiness"). The meaning of life is not the “pursuit of happiness”, it is the “seeking of righteousness”. Everyone wants to: 1. Love and be loved, 2. Have a place to call their own, and 3. Leave a legacy. But these are just defense mechanisms for the 3 underlying traumas of the garden of Eden: 1. Death, 2. Divorce, and 3.Displacement. We want to be loved because we are afraid of divorce. We want to have a home because we are afraid of homelessness and we want to leave a legacy because it’s a cheap consolation prize for eternal life. But all of these traumas are already solved in Christ. So seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things will be added unto you.

- Title: AI and transhumanism Ethics
- Location: TBA
- Rapid advances in biomedical technology raise two fundamental questions: 1. What does it mean to be human? 2. What kind of world do we wish to build for the future? Both AI technology and transhumanism (the philosophy of human enhancement) raise these questions with new urgency. But this gives us new opportunities as Christian believers. Our challenge will be to show how the biblical Christian faith gives relevant and practical answers to the deepest questions of our age.

- Title: Financial Accountability
- Location: TBA
- Financial stewardship begins with recognising God’s lordship over all resources—He owns everything, and we are His managers. This perspective guides wise financial management, which includes assessing and managing risk, building an emergency fund for unforeseen needs, and planning for the future through disciplined saving and investing. Short-term goals require liquidity and stability, while long-term goals benefit from growth-oriented investments. Stewardship also involves budgeting, avoiding unnecessary debt, and giving generously. Ultimately, faithful financial management reflects trust in God, not money, and aligns our resources with His purposes. It’s not about accumulation, but obedience, accountability, and advancing God’s kingdom through thoughtful, purposeful financial decisions.

- Title: Disciple Making Ministry
- Location: TBA
- In this session on “Disciple-Making Ministry,” we’ll use the DMM approach from ICMDA to learn how to follow Jesus and help others do the same. Guided by Matthew 28:18–20, we are called to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them.” We’ll explore practical ways to build relationships, study the Bible together, pray, and encourage one another—especially among doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers. Using ICMDA tools and discipleship training, the goal is to help Christian caregivers live like Christ, love like Christ, and share Him with those around them. A key focus will be the importance of social circles—family, workplace, neighborhood, and church—as God places us there to have influence. The mindset we want to develop is: if discipleship and godly influence do not begin at home, it will be difficult to practice effectively elsewhere."

- First of all, lets discuss on the heart and its intention. What do Christian medical professionals try to achieve as volunteers to a disaster filed? What is the “Brokenness” in a disaster field? How much Christian medical professionals can contribute to a disaster zone depends on how much disaster awareness, preparedness and collaboration done post disaster, during Recovery, Mitigation and Preparation phase. Christian medical professionals shall carry the kingdom mindset of wholistic approach to this field, not just focus on medical skill and needs during acute stage of disaster. Strengthening relationship with local church communities, building trust with local communities, network and collaborate with local agencies, to establish a spiritual, mental and physical resiliency in individual as well as communities level.
