James Tomlinson
James is a General Practice (Family Practice) doctor and trainer based in Birmingham, UK and is CMF Head of Volunteers and Networks. He has previously served as the ICMDA Regional Secretary for Europe and Eurasia. In his role for CMF he coordinates and leads CMF’s Networks including the Christian Healthcare Leadership Network as well as holding responsibility for how CMF supports its many volunteers. Chris is a consultant breast surgeon who has worked for many years in the National Health Service in the UK. He is Clinical Lead for breast services in Swansea, and has held multiple leadership roles in the NHS locally, regionally and nationally. Chris leads the ‘Christians in Healthcare Leadership Network’ on behalf of the Christian Medical Fellowship in the UK and is passionate about good quality leadership and the difference that Christians can make. Out of work he enjoys time with grandchildren, climbing in the mountains and is involved in his local church.

Sheena Li

Sheena is originally from Hong Kong but completed her undergraduate studies at Queens University in Canada. Subsequently she went to the US for her dental medicine and post-grad training. She worked on a regular basis for Health Canada to provide dental services to isolated First Nations communities in Northern Ontario and the Inuit population in the Arctic. After completing theological studies from Tyndale University and Seminary, Sheena has been living and serving in the highlands of Papua New Guinea since 2015. She is part of the Ethnos 360 team, serving in the areas of clinical dentistry, community health development and improving oral health education and access among the rural majority of PNG. Sheena is the ICMDA Regional Secretary for Oceania and enjoys working with students, registrars, and fellow doctors among university campus and clinical contexts to facilitate learning about the integration of faith and practice.

Mhoira Leng

Dr Mhoira Leng (MBChB, MRCP(UK), FRCPE, FREPSG, FCP(E,C&S Africa), Int Fellow Royal Society of Edinburgh) is a Scottish specialist palliative care physician. She has had the privilege of working in partnership with national colleagues to develop global palliative care for over 30 years in 4 continents including UK, India, Africa and the Arab world, especially Sudan and Palestine. These partnerships aim to build capacity and tomorrow’s leaders through developing integrated palliative care models, building evidence-based practise and research capacity, demonstrating values-based changes within curriculum development, delivery and mentorship as well as transformational change alongside excluded and marginalised people including humanitarian settings.

Rebekah Zechariah

Dr. Rebekah Zechariah is a senior faculty in the department of Distance Education at Christian Medical College, Vellore. She has been with the department for the past ten years and was head of the department till April 2024. In her current role as Coordinator for International Programs and Partnerships, she leads all the international initiatives of the department. After completion of her MBBS degree at CMC Vellore, she pursued her MD in Internal Medicine followed by MD Geriatrics in the United States. She has a masters’ degree in Higher Education which enables her work in the Distance Education department. Her passion is teaching Geriatrics and being involved in Medical Education.
