Graduated in medicine from the University of Newcastle in 1985, and completed her PhD in 2003 on “children’s participation in randomised controlled trials”. She recently retired from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead where she founded the multidisciplinary urinary continence service for children. She continues to work as an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Child and Adolescent Health (University of Sydney). She has published widely in the areas of paediatric randomised controlled trials, eHealth and online searching for health information, evidence based medicine, general paediatrics and paediatric continence and medical education research. She is a board member of Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship of Australia and is passionate aboutsharing her love of Jesus through her work and cross-culturally.

Dr Jeffrey Barrows
Jeffrey J. Barrows, DO, MA (Ethics) serves as Senior Vice President of Bioethics and Public Policy for the Christian Medical & Dental Associations. Dr. Barrows is an obstetrician/gynecologist, author, educator, medical ethicist and speaker. He has dedicated 15 years of his career fighting human trafficking within the intersection of trafficking and healthcare. In 2008, Dr. Barrows founded Gracehaven, an organization assisting victims of domestic minor sex trafficking in Ohio. In 2019, Dr. Barrows published a novel entitled Finding Freedom that realistically portrays child sex trafficking in the U.S. He has been married to Kathy for 45 years with 3 grown children and two grandchildren.

Dr Yared Mekonen
Yared is medical doctor by profession with more than 20 years relevant experience in the field of public health with various leadership capacities. He had a solid experience in program design management and leadership including facilitating training in community health which he has integrated these well with his call and passion for kingdom agendas. He has been deeply involved in capacity building of the church by integrating the great commission with community health program with practical exposure in monitoring and reviewing of the church based Wholistic Transformation Development Programs in Africa, Caribbean and beyond. He, currently, oversees the overall LIA International programs operation as a Senior Director, Programs based in Nairobi.

Dr Rob Sadler
Rob was a practicing GP in the UK for 33yrs. He has been in active medical education or 26 both as a GP trainer and tutor having initially started organising postgraduate medical courses in 1996. Other interests include Medical Politics resulting in involvement in one guise or another with the development of Primary Care Services in Kent for 20 years including becoming Chairman of the Kent Local medical Committee for 6. He has been working with PRIME since 2009, and is currently a Chairperson of the PRIME Executive Team, Chair of the International Strategy Group and a Senior Tutor. Rob has extensive experience of PRIME teaching in Africa, in particular Uganda.

Dr Anil Cherian
My wife Shalini and I are doctors from India. We are currently involved in training a mid-cadre of health professionals – clinical officers and midwives in the Republic of South Sudan ( Africa) and currently live and work in Bor Town in South Sudan. We have been doing this ministry since 2014 initially based in Uganda and now in South Sudan.
While in India we worked for over 20 years in small rural christian hospitals in North India under the Emmanuel Hospital Association. Between 2012-2016 I also worked as the Missions Coordinator with the Evangelical Medical Fellowship of India with the primary focus of mobilising christian health professionals for a life involvement in God’s mission. During this period I was instrumental in developing a foundation course in missions for the EMFI.
