    Dr Ifeanyichukwu Igwilo Onah

    Ifeanyi is a Multiplying Trainer for the Saline Process serving with CMDA and HCF Nigeria since 2020. He is happily married with six children and is an Anglican priest with Enugu Diocese.

    He is a consultant Plastic Surgeon and the Head of Department at National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu. He is also a Professor of Plastic surgery at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Plastic surgery at Abia State University Uturu.

    Dr H David Sawadogo

    Hamado David SAWADOGO is from Burkina Faso (one of the French speaking countries in West Africa), He is married to Nathalie and they have two daughters. He is the General Secretary of our Board in the national CMDA and the Area Representative for ICMDA Francophone region.

    He is one of the training facilitators in his region in Bioethics, Sydenham Leadership course, Confident Christianity, Volunteering… He is trained in the Saline Process Training The Trainers course. He is a General Practitioner, graduated as a family Physician by CMC Vellore, Linda Loma University, ICMDA. He will be certified to perform emergency surgery in which he has been trained for the last six months.

  • Dr Dan Kientega

    Dr Dan Kientega

    KIENTEGA Dan is a dental surgeon and is finishing his master’s degree in public health (option: epidemiology, biostatistics and health research).

    He is the national student coordinator of Burkina CMDA. He has completed SPTTT training, and he is a facilitator of several trainings in the Francophone region of ICMDA: Growing up as a witness, Confident Christianity, Sydenham leadership etc.

    His love for improving the health of the population led him to found in 2016, the Association of Students in Dental Surgery of Burkina Faso AECD-BF. He was co-founder and member of the executive board of the AfroDSA (African Dental Students Association) from 2017 to 2019. He also held the position of director of the Africa region of the IADS (International Dental Students Association) during the 2019 – 2020 term.

    Emilie Presthus

    Emilie is privileged to work for IHS Global as an International Ministry Coordinator for the Saline Process. She was born and raised in southern France, and then went to university in California, where she met her husband, Rob, they have now been married for almost 8 years. She studied International Business and Spanish as an undergraduate and got to spend a year living in Argentina. She then did a Masters in Business Administration. She loves to travel, meet new people, learn about their culture, food and language, and especially see how faith is lived out throughout the world. She also loves to sing worship songs and equip people with resources to grow their faith and share Christ.

  • Dr Diana Safina

    Dr Diana Safina

    Diana is a family physician, lives in Russia. She came to Christ in 2005, while being a medical student. In 2013 she learned about Medical Christian Association of Russia and joined it. From 2014 she has been an active member of the Moscow medical Christian group, has been helping organizing and developing it. Since 2022 she became an Area Representative for ICMDA in Russian regions.

    At some point Diana realized that very few Christian medical workers share Christ’s truth in love with their patients and colleagues. And medical practice is our largest mission field, that’s why she went through Saline Witness training and trainers’ training in 2022 and helped organize a witness training in Russia in the fall of 2022 while still in the process of learning.

    Diana’s husband Marat is a pastor in one of Moscow’s churches. They have 2 kids of school age.

    Dr. Jachin Velavan, MBBS, DNB Family Medicine, MRCGP(Int), MA in Distance Education, FAIMER Fellow (Philadelphia, USA)

    Dr Velavan is a Family Physician, with a special interest in Primary Healthcare in Rural areas and Innovations in Medical Education. She has worked for over 10 years in many rural Mission Hospitals in India. She is currently Faculty in the Distance Education Department in Christian Medical College Vellore and has been involved in developing and delivering need-based Distance Education courses.

    For the last 15 years, she has been involved in teaching General Practitioners and Government doctors across India and in other developing nations through Blended Learning Programs in Family Medicine, as well as nurses and community lay-leaders in basic Primary Healthcare delivery. She and her husband Timothy are blessed with two adult children.

  • Dr Frikkie Kellerman

    Dr Frikkie Kellerman

    Frikkie serves the Lord Jesus as a Family Physician Educator through CMC Vellore, in India, since 2013. He is passionate about the Lord, and about whole person education, for the purpose of whole person healthcare. He’s been involved in HCF since 1979. Before becoming a family physician, he did hospital-based medicine, community medicine, and the training of clinical nurse practitioners for 10 years in rural Venda. At McCord’s hospital (in Durban), he was part of the team of carers for 8,000 patients with AIDS. He is happily married to Esther, who loves and serves Jesus as a homemaker and teacher.

    Arun Zechariah is an IT consultant primarily contributing now at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India. Arun received his MS in Software Engineering from Michigan, USA and worked in the corporate world for 20 years before he and his family returned to India in obedience to God’s call. His experience from the banking industry is now being utilised in Education Technology. He has developed a keen interest in building cost-effective online platforms for medical education. Additionally, Arun volunteers his time and expertise to like-minded organizations, in the mission field, enabling them to see technology as an enabler in their work.

  • Dr Richard Wong

    Dr Richard Wong

    Richard is VR GP who hails from Sydney but in the last few years has been working a lot in areas of need around Australia and internationally as well by dedicating some of his time to short term medical mission trips. He is currently in Queensland working in general practice, with an interest in aged care and sports medicine, and hospital and after hours work. He has enjoyed the opportunities of working with likeminded Christian doctors and health professionals. He is a long term member of CMDFA and was its NSW secretary for a number of years before switching to continue in a similar role in Queensland. He has shared in teaching roles over the years in both a bible and medical capacity. He has also been a long term supporter of TEAR amongst other Christian organisations and is a trainer for the Saline Process as well as a PRIME qualified tutor. He is interested in addressing the disparity of health care around the world by using his God given resources to help in any way possible through the board of HealthServe.

  • Dr Geoffrey Masika Wechuli

    Dr Geoffrey Masika Wechuli

    I am a Christian doctor trained in and currently working as a Consultant Family Physician at a County Referral Hospital in Kenya since 2020. I am the immediate former Head of department of Family Medicine at Kabarak University where I was privileged to steer the program’s growth to include five church hospitals over four years. I continue to provide administrative, academic and mentorship support to the program in the capacity of honorary lecturer. I am a married to Dr Audrey Chepkemoi and a father to four wonderful children – Gift, Destyn, Daniella and Stellan Masika.

    I am a PRIME tutor, trained in Whole Person Medicine (PRIME-UK) in 2016 and I helped engineer the incorporation of the PRIME Whole Person Medicine curriculum into the Kabarak University Family Medicine curriculum as one of the introductory courses. I am a regular trainer with PRIME in Kenya. I recently completed the Bioethics (Cert) with ICMDA and eager to continue engaging and training others.

    I have been an active member of Christian Medical Fellowship – Kenya since my undergraduate years and have been privileged to help start the Eldoret and Nakuru chapters. I am a board member of the Christian Academy of African Physicians (CAAP), a member of WONCA, Kenya Association of Family Physicians among others. I am passionate about Christian witness in the medical marketplace, voluntary community work and medical missions. I have engaged in several medical missions to unreached people groups in the East Africa region and beyond. I find joy in mentoring medical students in these and other values, together growing in our Christian walk, witness, and service.
